L & L Party Fic: Checking out the newest arrivals

Summary: Drooling over the House of Nice and the Castle

The Party was slowly warming up as more and more people filled the ballrooms. The banquet tables were always full and the glasses of shimmering champagne, beer, wine and blood were always overflowing. Music and laughter filled each room as Angelina and Vamps wandered through the crush with Jes on their arms, watching knowingly as women and men alike checked out the latest handsome hunk.

Truth be told the three of them made a striking trio. Blond, brunette and redhead, all dressed in shades of black and deep red, the effect was eyecatching to say the least.

"You liking the party a little better now Jes?" Vamps asked accepting another glass of champagne off of a roving waiters silver tray.

Watching as Catherine Zeta Jones walked by with a wink at him, a sudden smile lit up his sexy face, "Yeah... you could say that." He nodded quickly, still scanning the crowd.

Angelina and Vamps grinned at each other the same thought on their minds, *Mission accomplished,* as they continued through the rooms finally circling back to the same room as their respective families.

"I wonder who they are?" Ange mused looking over the newest families to arrive as they stand talking to Scarlet and Tis.

Looking at them also Vamps shrugged, "Probably a couple of the fams, I mean they seem to know Tis and Scarlet. But damn look at the guy dressed in the waistcoat now there's mouth watering ooey gooey goodness if I do say so myself."

"Oh but the tall one with the devilish smirk he's salty goodness too, Ooo and the dark forbidding one with the white t-shirt."

Jes chuckled as Vamps and Angelina leaned their heads to the side and sighed together.

"I like the chain maille outfit myself, " he said checking out the lovely in a very revealing mesh outfit.

"Do you think it's cold?" Ange asked snapping out of the momentary droolage. "The metal I mean? And ow....major butt wafflage."

"I think it's just about the coolest outfit I've seen tonight, and I'm sure that her partner would be more than willing to rub any owwies out of her skin that may occur." Vamps eyes lighting up neon green for a moment, " I mean I would."

Watching the families together for a minute and marveling at the sheer happiness that is flowing off of them in waves as their laughter and smiles fill the room Angelina can't help but notice a certain Wolfe looking at her with smouldering eyes. Blushing brightly she offers him a shy smile and then turns her eyes to the rest of them again.

"Val looks harried." She observed, "maybe I should go help him with door duties."

Slowly walking up to our group of friends Vamps nods as she watches Val give his apologies and leave to answer the door yet again. "That's a good idea Ange, I'm sure he'd love the help."

"Can do. Call me helping girl." With a smile for Anu and Luc and a wink at Vamps she takes one last glance at Scarlet's cute mate, blushing again and follows after Val.
