* * * * * * * * *

‘ey, book.

Sorry it’s took so long ta get back ta tellin’ ya what’s been ‘appenin’.

‘s been a long soddin’ few days, it ‘as. But I knows ya don’t much care ‘bout that so’s I’s just gonna pick up where I’s left off.

Right.

So there we was at th’ castle. Figgered m’petal would like it, an’ judging from th’ look on ‘er face when we’s appeared in our room, I’s was right.

Can’t blame the bloody luvly chit fer bein’ a little bit overwhelmed. ‘ell, even I was, ta tell ya true.

Th’ rug on th’ floor was so soddin’ thick an’ soft, I’s swears m’boots was sunk in up ta th’ ankles. Lotsa old stuff about, but it didn’t look ta be as old as I’s knew it ‘ad ta be. Musta been what Punkin –‘ead would call “antique”.

Bits of gilt an’ shiny whatnot trimmin’ th’ edges of thin’s, an’ that’s just what I’s saw right at first.

I’s picked m’petal up ‘igher in m’arms an’ swung ‘er ‘round, laughin’.

“We’s ‘ere, petal-mine… wha’ d’ y’ thin’?”

‘er eyes was shinin’ when I’s set ‘er down all gentle-like, book. Took ‘er a good minute ta find ‘er voice, even.

“Oh, Tigger,” she said, ‘er sweet tone tremblin’ a bit, “It’s…”

An’ I leaned down an’ kissed ‘er all soft an’ thorough, smirkin’ when I’s finally pulled back ta let ‘er breathe.

“Tha’s jus’ so’s y’ c’n say f’r real an’ cert’n true tha’ th’ cat ‘ad y’r tongue, petal-mine. ‘r th’ Tigg’r, ‘s th’ case may be.”

Made ‘er laugh, I’s did, an’ I’s glad. Luvs ‘t when ‘er voice burbles an’ lilts like tha’. Always makes me smile even more than I’s usually does just from bein’ with ‘er.

So’s we prowled through th’ bedroom fer a bit, then went explorin’ through th’ connectin’ rooms. Seems when ya reserve a suite at this place, they rully gives ya a sweet suite.

Didn’t see a telly in th’ livin’ room area. Guess they’s calls it a sittin’ room ‘n this part ‘f th’ world, but same thin’. Th’ couch turned out ta be more comfy an’ such than it looked ta be, not that we’s spent much time there ta tell ya true.

‘ole bleedin’ place was filled wit’ those “antiques”.

Bloody ‘ell, book. I’s needs ta remember ta tell Punkin-‘ead ‘bout th’ place. Pretentious bloke’d be in bleedin’ ‘og ‘eaven, wouldn’t ‘e? But that’s b’side th’ point.

So I’s took m’petal’s ‘and an’ we wandered inta th’ bedroom ‘gain, then cross it ta look inside what turned out ta be a soddin’ ‘uge bathroom wit’ a ‘ot tub an’ a bloody view ta kill fer. But don’t tell any of th’ other blokes I’s said that, ‘ey? ‘s a bleedin’ poncey sentiment an’ all.

So there we’s was, book.

Perfec’ place, perfec’ time, m’perfec’ girl.

I’s couldn’t ‘elp rememberin’ when me an’ petal was at that resort we’s claimed at. I’s was right nervous then, an’ so was she. This time…

I’s wasn’t nervous atall.

I’s was anxious, o’course, an’ a little worried. Figgered she might change ‘er min’ or summat. Think I’s would ‘ave turned m’self off if’n she ‘ad.

O’course, if’n I ‘ad, Pepper an’ th’ blokes woulda turned me back on an’ made me pay fer bein’ a prat, so’s I’s guess ‘s a good thin’ she was just as fixed on th’ course ‘s I’s was.

I’s wasn’t sure of that a’ first, book, but just b’cuz I’s was too scared ta ask.

Finally, though, there was nuthin’ left ta poke inta ‘bout th’ room an’ th’ time was on us.

So’s I turned ta ‘er, m’fingers still wrapped in ‘ers, an’ I’s caught th’ mos’… odd look on ‘er face.

“Petal-luv,” I’s murmured, “We’s don’… I means, if’n y’ don’ wan’…”

‘t was whilst I’s was swallowin’ ‘ard that she put ‘er free ‘and on th’ back ‘f my neck an’ pulled m’lips ta ‘ers.

I’s ‘ave ta tell y’, book, I’s never been so relieved ‘bout anythin’ in m’life.

I’s kissed ‘er back just as ‘ard, an’ when she spoke, I’s ‘shamed ta say I’s couldn’t rully ‘ear ‘er words over th’ rushin’ ‘n m’ears.

An’ ta be ‘onest, th’ words didn’t matter so much right then.

M’petal luved me. Luved me ‘nuff ta want ta be m’Mate. Mine fer all time. Ta let me inta ‘er ‘eart an’ soul an’ wrap me in th’ velvet bliss of ‘er warm nature.

Yah, book. That was all I rully wanted or needed ta know right in that momen’.

‘s what ‘appened next that made alla th’ doubts an’ ‘ardships disappear, though.

BLOODY FUCKIN’ ‘ELL! Wha’s a bloke gotta do ta ‘ave mor’n five bloody seconds ta ‘imself?

I’s swears, book, I’m movin’ out ta th’ guest ‘ouse!

Bloody fuckin’ soddin’ DEV needs ta get in ‘ere. I’ll ‘ave ta tell ya th’ rest later, mate.

Yer friend,

Sully
